The first impression you have of Christ the King Catholic Church is that it is not your ordinary parish. In your lives  I am sure you have seen many different parishes and you find them to be unique, each in their own way. When you come to Christ the King, you’ll probably find it unique in every way. Not only unique, but out of the ordinary. Maybe solemn, maybe awesome....certainly extraordinary.

At the heart of our growing community, we find what makes it extraordinary: The Extraordinary Form of the Mass. The Latin Mass is the center of all that we do. It is why we are here. And that’s what makes our community extraordinary. We strive, limited by our faults and weaknesses, but inspired by the Love of God, to make the Holy Mass and precise liturgy come alive.

For our mission statement, we have adopted the ancient maxim: Lex orandi, lex credendi, lex vivendi. Translated freely, it reads: “How we pray inspires what we believe, and motivates how we live”. In other words, the Extraordinary Form of the Mass is the center and purpose of Christ the King Catholic Church. With the Mass at the heart, we have a vibrant and engaged laity and priests.  As part of a genuine pastoral care for our congregation’s spiritual welfare, I and our other priests offer solid and orthodox catechesis for our youth, life-long faith formation  for adults and a host of parish-based activities that help us all cultivate virtue and our rich Christian faith. We wish to grow and live in the knowledge of God, and strive our best to make the Liturgy worthy of Him. Then we take this home, transforming our lives and our families according to our faith. Formed by this lex orandi, lex credendi and lex vivendi we strive to be disciples of the Divine Master, Christ Jesus.

We welcome you to join us and help us, as we strive to worship and serve Our King in a worthy manner. Whether you are on vacation in Florida, passing through, searching for reverence or simply curious about the Latin Mass, Christ the King Catholic Church is something you won’t want to miss. You’ll be telling the family back home that you lit a candle for them! When you visit us, be sure to look for me or one of our priests after Mass. We would love to meet you, welcome you personally and get to know you. You will also find our parishioners welcoming. If you like, any of them would love to sit beside you and guide you through the missalette, helping you follow the Mass.

We hope that your visit will serve to bring you a little closer to Our Lord and to grow in His Love.
